UTVs are taking the place of what was once the brush truck and providing a small nimble vehicle that has a low cost of ownership. The UTV  by itself provides great support for incidents and events, but incorporating a skid unit that is capable of patient transport, firefighting or even both expands the capabilities of the vehicle.
